Look at what we've accomplished!

Three-time winner of the Pennsylvania AAUW Impact Award.

Spearheaded in the fall of 1995, the Doylestown Branch Community Program received the PA AAUW Impact Award and in 2002, the AAUW National 21st Century Recognition Award, Platinum Level, for presenting issues of great importance to women's and girls' education. Topics have included:

Adelante Lois Plotnick
Meets at 3 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month to discuss books that illustrate a new point of view.

Book Sale Curmudgeons  Besse Brindle     Amy Lancaster
Usually meets at 1:30 PM the Friday before Board meetings at the home of Amy Lancaster. 

Bridge Maureen V. Shuster 
Meets at 1:30 PM the fourth Tuesday of each month, September through June, except December.

Cultural Interests Barbara Barney
Group takes monthly trips.  Times and places to be announced.

Daytime Literature Review  Peggy Michaud
Meets at 12:30 PM the fourth Thursday of each month.

Evening Eclectics  Barbara Theiss  
Meets at 7:30 PM September through May and 6 PM in June the second Wednesday of the month to analyze an author, her/his style, and relevant issues.

Health and Nutrition  Phyllis Weir
Meets at 3:30 PM the second Monday of every other month from September through May.  We select topics to discuss and try to keep updated on the various changes in the health and nutrition fields.

International Culture & Cuisine Paula Young
Members plan, prepare, and enjoy meals of international origin.  Four or five dinners are scheduled at 3 PM on Sundays.

Issues Lois Plotnick
Meets once a month at 3:30 p.m. on the 4th Wednesday.

Mah Jongg Mary Lee Lieser
The players meet the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in members' homes.  Newcomers are welcome.

Quilters – Broken Dishes Emily Sippel 
Meets at 12:30 PM three Thursdays of the month at Amy Lancaster’s and at 7:00 PM one Thursday of the month at Barbara Ford’s.  Call Emily for up-to-date information.

Sort 'n' Lunch Bunch Carolyn Cowgill
Meets the Tuesday following the branch meeting at 10:30 a.m. at the barn to sort books for an hour and then go to lunch.
